Introductions
I’ve wanted to have another blog for awhile. My old blog, pullingshots, was a relatively successful coffee blog focusing on my work as a barista in Calgary and Vancouver. I have since left the coffee industry and am now a researcher at UBC after having spent the last four years in pursuit of a geology degree. We’ll see if I can keep this one up, but this blog has been initially sparked by the good folks at the Chowhound Western Canada board, a great group of active posters that really know the food scene well west of Ontario. Currently, I am living in East Vancouver in a wonderland of cheap eats along the Broadway, Fraser and Kingsway corridors. This post here details only a few of the options around my new place.
My new blog aims to highlight some of the great options for eating (and drinking) in Vancouver. I know I have a ton to learn about a lot of the delicious cuisine to be had in my highly multicultural neighborhood so this will be a bit of a learning process. So long as I remember to bring my camera…
Welcome to the cheap eats scene in Vancouver. Your neighborhood offers various kind of food. I just start my blog just over a month ago dedicating it for cheap, but good eats in Vancouver:) No pretentious food here. Check it out if you have time. http://CheapAppetite.com
